problems:

  • product management and development practices are still fairly new to quite a few folks at KP, and they're still working to establish standard processes and practices to help teams digitally transform.

  • there are a limited number of internal and contracted coaches to give direct, 1:1 teams attention and advice

goal: increase awareness and use of recommended product tools and processes, leading to more empowered teams with shared ownership of key elements like OKR goal-setting, product discovery, roadmapping, user research, MVPs, etc.

I published 12 interactive team workshops with hands-on activities for a variety of topics: Product Vision, OKRs, User Personas, Discovery, Service Blueprints, User Journey Maps, Roadmaps, etc. to guide 300+ KP IT employees transforming from the Project Model to the Product Model

  • Coaches' introduction to each topic

  • Early 'Pulse check' questions to gauge team understanding, and to help teams consider how the topic at hand may or may not already impact their day-to-day work

  • Step-by-step toolkits to walk teams through each lesson

  • Interactive team activities for them to practice what they've learned
